Volkswagen Posts Record Deliveries in September

593,700. That is how many Volkswagen vehicles were delivered around the world just in the month of September, marking an eight-percent increase compared to September of 2016 and setting new records in multiple markets.

According to media.vw.com, “The Volkswagen brand delivered 593,700 vehicles worldwide in September 2017… In total, 4.49 million vehicles from the brand were handed over to customers worldwide from January to September. This represents a three-percent increase compared with the previous year.” Divided out into each market, that 593,700 includes 158,500 delivered in Europe; 53,800 vehicles delivered to North America; 37,900 vehicles delivered to South America, and 310,500 vehicles were delivered to China.

For Europe, this includes a 14-percent increase in Central and Eastern Europe, a 15-percent increase in Russia. For North America, this includes a 32-percent increase in the USA, and 51 percent increase in Canada. For South America, this includes a 131-percent increase in Brazil, a 44-percent increase in Argentina, and a 49-percent increase in Chile.
