Robby Boleman Named New Executive General Manager of Jim Ellis Volkswagen of Atlanta and Kennesaw

We are pleased and proud to welcome Robby Boleman as the new executive general manager of Jim Ellis Volkswagen of Atlanta and Kennesaw. After graduating from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2003, Robby was drawn to the automotive industry because of his love of cars and people. He joined Jim Ellis Automotive Group as a salesperson in September of 2003. Over the past 21 years he has worked his way up through the company, serving as internet director, finance and insurance director, pre-owned manager and general manager of Volkswagen of Chamblee. This promotion will now put him over both Jim Ellis Volkswagen locations, effective July 1, 2025.

The Jim Ellis culture has always been important to Robby. Jim Ellis Automotive promotes the family atmosphere that has led them to be the largest family-owned and operated automotive group in the metro Atlanta area. Treating customers and team members like family is something Robby instills in his team each day.

Robby credits Jimmy Ellis, Wesley Ellis, Stacey Hodges, Brooke Gatlin, Rodney Woods and Scott Johnson with his growth in the company over the past 21 years. Their leadership has been instrumental in implementing an honest, transparent approach in all car business functions clearly geared for a win-win approach and a positive guest experience.

When asked which Volkswagen model is his favorite, Robby chose the Cross Sport SEL Premium R-Line. “It’s the best looking five-passenger SUV on the market with great technology and equipped with every feature you could want!” he said. “It’s a great daily driver and perfect for carpool, commuting, and taking day trips with the family.”

When not at work, Robby loves spending time with his family, including time on the lake on their boat, sporting events, concerts and playing soccer and football with his 8-year-old son.
