The SE is the entry-level variant of the VW Atlas trim levels and offers drivers an excellent selection of premium features. It sets the tone for the entire lineup, building a solid foundation for what’s to come. For starters, the IQ.DRIVE suite of driver-assist features is standard, which includes systems like Travel Assist, an Active Blind Spot Monitor, and Adaptive Cruise Control. The turbocharged engine works with standard front-wheel drive in this trim, but 4MOTION all-wheel drive is optional. The next trim up offers the same setup, with the top three variants coming standard with 4MOTION all-wheel drive.
Move up one level, and you are welcomed to the Atlas SE with Technology trim level. This trim builds upon the standard outfittings of the SE model. Keep in mind that the VW Atlas trim levels feature the same dimensions. For instance, the 2025 Atlas boasts 153.7 cubic feet of passenger volume without the sunroof. If you equip the sunroof, which is available as part of a package in this trim, the passenger space drops to 150.7 cubic feet. Meanwhile, 20.6 cubic feet of cargo space lies behind the third row and can be expanded to 96.6 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded.
