Let's be honest, spring in Kennesaw isn't so unlike winter in Kennesaw. When our friends up north are dealing with snow storms and blizzards, we're mostly still enjoying the sun. Even so, as seasons change, it's a good idea to bring your Volkswagen in for maintenance. Here are some spring maintenance tips from Jim Ellis Volkswagen of Kennesaw:

  • Get a routine oil and filter change! Not only do oil changes clean dirt and debris from your engine, but it also improves your fuel efficiency. That's helpful for your long spring drives.
  • Have your brakes inspected. Make sure that your brake pads aren't worn down too much, and that your rotors aren't warped. If need be, have them replaced.
  • Rotate your tires. Every tire's tread wears down over time, but when one tire wears down faster than the other three, it puts more stress on them. And that, in turn, makes the others wear down faster, too. Rotating your tires helps to spread the tread wear evenly, and preserve all four for the long haul.
